Charity Raffle Co-Chairman Dick Johnson circulated information sheets listing names, addresses, etc. of last year's and past raffle ticket purchasers. He asked members to make any corrections or deletions. The date for the drawing has been set for Sunday, November 11th, and Dick will negotiate with IASC manager regarding cost for the hall and dinner.

Charity Raffle Co-Chairman Dick Johnson reported letters to prior ticket purchasers are printed, addressed and ready to be mailed. The tickets are also printed and available. The Early Bird drawing will take place at the October 1st meeting. Last year 267 out of the possible 275 tickets were sold. Dick estimates 10% will be lost to attrition so about 35 new purchasers will have to be found.

Chair reported he just turned over to the club treasurer $6700 in receipts. He distributed paid-for raffle tickets to members to forward to the individual purchasers. Dick reminded members that the club needed to find new purchasers.

Chair reported receipts for an additional 150 tickets sold. He further emphasized the need to sell 35 new tickets to reach the club's goal of 275. Beat the bushes.

The club's 30th Annual Giulio Francesconi Charity Raffle Drawing/Dinner took place at the I.A.S.C. A total of 97 raffle ticket purchasers and guests enjoyed the cold cuts, salad, spaghetti & meat balls dinner with wine coffee and ice cream. Accordionist John Fiore again entertained. John is an Alemany Blvd. resident who worked as a local P G & E meter reader prior to retirement. He was a St. Peter's High School classmate of Past Presidents Ray Squeri and Bob Woodall. Co-Chairmen Dick Johnson and Bob Lawhon are to be congratulated for again making this a successful event. Thanks also to Lyle Workman for computerizing all of the data and handling the printing of tickets and letters. 265 raffle tickets were sold/purchased including three tickets given for services. Ten tickets remained unsold. Charlie Bottarini was recognized for building and presenting to the I.A.S.C. a new lectern. The prize winners and respective ticket sellers were:
