Arrange donation and purchase of apples, oranges, candy canes, toys, binders and school supplies for gift bags. Assembly of bags. Arrive at school around 9 a.m. to distribute gift bags to approximately 150 kindergarten to 5th grade Spanish-speaking students. Santa Claus has been played by police officers.

Aaron Straus phoned in and informed the club the Mission Educational Center Christmas Party will take place Friday, December 19th. The assembling of the gift bags will take place at the December 17th meeting, which meeting will also be the club's Christmas Dinner at the Granada Cafe.

This gathering began early at 5:30 P.M. for the team bagging of gifts to be presented to the students at Mission Educational Center in two days. The process went smoothly. and the 158 bags of gifts were brought out in cartons to George Salet's nearby truck. The chairman also called for a show of hands of members who will be helping out at Friday's M.E.C. party.
